Retrofit Insulation Skills Course – Tipperary ETB

In response to the recent announcement of the National Retrofitting Scheme by the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications, Tipperary ETB are now offering a four week, full-time course in Retrofit Insulation Skills. The Retrofit Insulation Skills is a fully funded course, so is free of charge to attend. In some instances, applicants maybe entitled to a training allowance, or other support allowances such as travel.

The course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skill to insulate a building using best practices. This includes internal, external, floor and roof insulation. Participants will also learn how to make a building airtight to minimise unwanted energy losses.
