Drombane Upperchurch Energy Team featured on Tipp Mid-West Radio

Listen to the story of Drombane/Upperchurch Energy Team as featured on Tipp Mid-West Radio on Tuesday night 1st September, which was broadcast as part of the ‘Together, Stronger’ series. This was an excellent initiative by the local community which was setup to reduce the amount of money leaving the local economy in the form of energy and fuel bills every year. From this initial project grew Energy Communities Tipperary Cooperative, a community led, home insulation upgrade and retrofitting organisation operating as a One Stop Shop, taking the hassle out of getting grant aid, sourcing contractors and overseeing projects for homeowners.
