The Kilcommon/Rearcross/Hollyford Energy Team (KRHET) sprung up from a presentation given to the community by Gearóid Fitzgibbon of North Tipperary LEADER Partnership (NTLP) and Alexandra Hamilton from the Tipperary Energy Agency (TEA) in January 2014.
In 2014 we had 32 homes upgraded.
In 2015 we had 30 homes upgraded.
In 2016 we had 33 homes and the boilers in Kilcommon Church and Community Centre upgraded (at no cost to the parish).
In 2017 we had 16 homes and the boilers in Rearcross Church and Community Hall upgraded (at no cost to the parish).
In 2018 we had 7 homes and made a substantial contribution towards the CCTV system for Hollyford Village.
So in total 118 homes in our parish have been warmed up and the churches and community buildings have benefited from our participation in ECTC.
